As part of the MLK National Day of Service, SHARE YOUR GOOD HEALTH. Give something priceless, DONATE BLOOD AND SAVE A LIFE!

Did you know that ONLY 3% of eligible donors in Los Angeles give blood regularly, the lowest rate of any major US city? And that during the holiday season, blood supplies are critically depleted as donations go down and stores are used up due to an uptick in traffic accidents?

As a member of our community, you can make a real difference! Your donation of blood is truly THE GIFT OF LIFE. From trauma patients to children with leukemia, donated blood bestows life, health and hope to dozens of patients EVERY DAY. Blood donation is a safe and simple procedure and only takes a short time out of your day. And you will FEEL GREAT, knowing you have saved someone’s life.

PLEASE NOTE: Sign-up times are available every fifteen minutes to space donors out. After you sign up, the Cedars-Sinai Recruitment Office will contact you to confirm your eligibility. Please include your EMAIL ADDRESS and your TELEPHONE NUMBER when you sign up.

If you have any questions about your eligibility to donate, please call 310.423.5346. You can also go to:
Cedars-Sinai Blood Donor Facility

Prior to your donation, be sure to have something to eat and extra water to drink!

IF YOU CANNOT DONATE BUT WANT TO HELP OUT IN THE CANTEEN giving donors juice and cookies, please email stacy@30barack.com.
